This cd is the single reason I am a Juggalo and listen to ICP as much as I do. When I first got this cd I didnt really listen to ICP I had great Milenko but I didnt take them to seriously as artists. Then a friend gave me this and it changed everything I love this cd I listend to it continuously, that was 2 years ago and I still listen to it religiously. I now listen to all of the Joker Cards, Twiztid and love ICP and Dark Lotus I am even going to get a tatt for Dark Lotus.

Juggalos differ as to whether the Marz or the ABK version of the first Dark Lotus album was better. Personally, I believe that ABK's flow, style, and lyrics were more consistent with that of the rest of the Lotus than was Marz's. While Marz was indeed a very talented performer with the potential to become and underground sensation, he was hardly a child of the Lotus. Tales from the Lotus Pod (Revisited) provides mystic, cryptic tunes for your cranium, with ABK's lyrics played over those of Marz, the former sixth member of Dark Lotus. If you're a Juggalo, get this album immediately because this piece is an absolutely necessary addition to your collection!

Do not get this unless you have the first version. This version has remastered and shortened tracks. I am gonna review the regualr version --- I got this CD after hearing the track 11 or "B*tch I am Sexy." So obviously, I thought it was going to be a funny album. I was very surprised when I started listening to it and it is pretty much like the first Hell's Pit because it is so dark. There are a couple songs that are flat-out hilarious. But most of the songs are hella sick and scary. Now, i always and always give juggalo albums 5 stars because I have usually loved all the songs on other Psycopathic Records, but even as a HUGE juggalo, I have to say, some of these songs were terrible, i mean so terrible you will never listen to them twice. Now, obviously this is a huge album for Psychopathic, and it is a great album. I think what happened was they ran out of beats and used old beats that really didn't sound great. But for a dark rap album this is still good. The best songs are 3, 4, 5, 8, 10, 11, 12 and 15. Now the reason all juggalos need to buy this album is because of track 15. It's called Juggalo Family, this in my opinion is the most loyal song to Psychopathic ever made.

This comfortable little gaff has served me well. Although it does not completely hide everything, it does a tremendous job reducing unsightly bulges. I was able to get all of my apparatus tucked into the stretchy, soft pouch and tucked away neatly enough to allow me to wear a very tight miniskirt - quite a feat considering my package size.

I was amazed at how comfortable this gaff was to wear. After a 5 hour outing with three stage appearances, I felt no binding, no pinching and no loss of sensation. Not to mention how easy it was to remove and then reset (making bathroom breaks soooo much easier).

Unfortunately, if you're a performer who likes to wear pants, this gaff will probably not be enough for you. But for the average dresser who is simply looking for clean lines, this is the one for you.



Pros:

1. Easy to wear, adjust, remove, and reset.

2. Soft and smooth pocket fabric is very comfortable and forgiving.

3. Minimalist T-back design allows wearer to wear more attractive underwear over the gaff.

4. Tucks enough to remove frontal bulges.



Cons:

1. Does not completely hide package (not for use with tight pants or dancewear).

2. Back strap is rough nylon with a small plastic buckle - it can dig in a little.

I've had this lens for about 6 months. I was leary after reading some reviews but having several Sigma lenses with no issues, I decided to make the purchase. I'm about 800-1000 shots into it and I can honestly say that I'm very pleased at the performance even when compared to my Nikon lenses. I'm not saying that it's a hands down winner over comparable Nikons but I've definitly acheived a better than desired result or at least a better than expected result in almost all instances.

I've not had any of the mentioned focusing issues on any of my cameras. It's not as fast as some others that I've got but it does the job I need it to do.

I purchased this lens and it has never auto focused correctly so I sent it to Sigma under warranty to be repaired. Six weeks after they received the lens they keep telling that the circuit board required to repair the lens is on backorder from Sigma Japan and they cannot give me any idea when the lens will be repaired or if can even be repaired at all. Since my 5-month-old lens has been discontinued, they offered to upgrade me to a better lens for nearly 4 times the retail difference between the lens I purchased and the upgraded lens. According to my research Sigma has pulled their parts inventory from the US market so all the parts need to come from Japan making any repairs to their products a very lengthy, time-consuming issue. The other Sigma lenses I have do not really focus correctly throughout their optical range and the flashes do not work correctly with the Nikon TTL system. So what good is a 30% to 40% cheaper lens that produces out-of-focus images? Tom the Sigma CS service rep in NY is one of the most abrasive, condescending individuals I have ever spoken to. I am a photography graduate from an accredited college with over 20 years commercial and people photography and this man talked to me as if I was an inexperience user purchasing my first "real lens". My recommendation is that, if you are considering purchasing any Sigma products is that you reconsider your decision. Brand products are normally more but, in my opinion, they are well worth the price in the long run.

I read the mixed reviews here on Amazon and figured why not try it. Alot of EX lenses produce great pictures. I took a few hundred pics and as said in other reviews the results were dissappointing. Some pictures turned out sharp and in focus however the majority of them were soft and unuable. I downloaded a calibration sheet and tested all of my lenses. All of my nikon lenses focus point were dead on, however the sigma always focused 3mm short leaving the focus point soft and unsharp. Yes you could crank up the f-stop to eliminate the softness, like a f/ 5.6 but whats the point. I have a cheap nikon D that will shoot @ that range easily and very well. The whole point of buying a f/ 2.8 is so you can shoot @ 2.8 in low lighting and when wanting a shallow depth of field.

I use this lens for my D50 and F100. Works great on both. The focus is a bit slower than Nikkor, but the size, durability, and weight of the lens is great for the price. Expect some vignetting when wide open at 24mm (f2.8) on full frame, but no worries for DX. This should be my default zoom lens for many years to come.

So maybe I am very lucky. My copy of this lens is superb. Yes there is a difference in sharpness when shooting at 2.8 but it is still very sharp and once you go smaller than the 4's it is SHARPER than comparable nikon lenses.



This lens is quiet, focuses fast and zooms smoothly on my D80. All three of these things are issues others have had but I do not have. Cameta has a good return policy so why not try it at this price? I am happy I decided to go for it and feel like it is one of the best deals in my bag. Please note: (I have several fast pro Nikon lenses I have compared this too when making my review, not just other 3rd party lenses)

1.Catcher in the light:I love the melody to this, and her voice; too bad it was short. 8/10



2.About you:Nice beat, and a pretty catchy hook, but when the hook is done the guitar playing sounds too much of US pop bands 9/10



3.Game:Awsome and very catchy, but it could have used some of that fast paced rock guitar at the end or something like that 3rd single 9/10



4.My name's woman:At first I hated it, but then it bagan to grow on mw like hair. It's a pretty nice song 9/10



5.Wonderland: A interlude N/A



6.Liar:It's an ok song, not particularly one of my favorites tho 7/10



7.Hope or Pain:This song has a sad feel to it, and the song doesn't have a constant beat to it... nice 9/10



8.Happy Ending:This song I really don't listen to a lot, cuz I don't really like it 6/10



9.Moments:Ah the first song I herd off the whole CD back in April. This song is where Ayu is not repetitive, it's just a great going song that reminds me of songs like dearest 1st single 10/10

15.Replace:Wonderful beat, Ayu's voice, reminding me of her previous realeses by not having a constant beat, all I wanted on this CD was a song like this. My favorite 10/10



16.Winding Road:Boy this song reminds me of Sherryl Crow, and this song is definitly not one of my favorites 5/10

1.Moments:The video was almost like I imagened it, with a peaceful setting, but a lonley mood. 10/10

3.Game:What's to be expected, a calm opening with dudes jammin on gutars and stuff, and Ayu singing in a wierd room. 10/10



4.Carols:Near Perfect mood, Ayu on a stage with an empty audience, but still letting her singing take over. 10/10



5.About you:I only saw about a minute and a half of the video, and I have to say it's pretty wierd. 7/10



6.Walking proud:I love the setting of this video, a seemingly sad song, with a deppresing, somewhat desserted place 10/10



7.Humming 7/4:I love the song, and I love the video, a somewhat live J-pop/rock performance in a cage in front of an audience. cool 10/10



This is her first full-lenght album since rainbow. It is a great CD, and Ayu showes another good reason to why she is the queen of J-pop. Although I didn't like the cover scans, too much make-up, sadly reminded me of Gwen Stefani, but the Booklet scans are beautiul. Fans of Ayu have to get this CD. J-pop fans should give this CD a shot as well, but if you're just geting into Ayumi Hamasaki, I'd start with I am, it's nearly skip-proof material.

Holly Near's singing voice has a unique timbre; it's quite beautiful and perfectly matched to this type of material. I looked forward to the CD, remembering well the standards medley from her "Lifeline" album. Near doesn't disappoint in this great set, where she is matched with longtime musical collaborator John Bucchino on piano. (I remember seeing the two of them in concert in 1986.) From Near's liner notes, it looks like the recording process took place in three days. If they had a little more time together, I think this would have been a five-star set, but who cares? Perfection is in the eye of the beholder, and Holly Near singing standards is close to perfection.

It's nice to hear a kinder, gentler Holly Near. Over the past few years, she's conquered live theatre and and cabaret, as well as contributed to S.T.A.G.E. in addition to her prior political work. This disc is a natural progression for Holly, based on her evolution as an artist. And, to record this with her long-time accompanist, John Bucchino, is perfect. Holly & John work well together, and Holly sounds as if she wants these songs to be a gift. But, she doesn't always sound comfortable with the song choices. Yet, it is the true measure of an artist to be able to perform with limited instrumentation, as she does here with simply piano -- at that Holly excels. One would wonder why she doesn't wrap her vocal chops around the songwriting of her friend and accompanist, John Bucchino -- now that would be an excellent match of vocalist and lyricist.

Holly Near hinted in her medley of love songs, Stormy Weather on Lifeline that she could be a major singer of show tunes. With a Song in my Heart triumphantly proves this to be the case.

Described as songs the singer's parents used to listen to, this CD is so much more than that. Slinky, jazz like, powerful and yet sometimes quite gentle, Holly Near's singing catches all the emotions needed to take on some great but not hackneyed old songs.

There are spectacular versions here of "I'm beginning to see the Light", "When Somebody thnks you're wonderful" and "You'd be so nice to come home to". I defy anyone with a sense of humour not to be humming "I've got the World on a String" after a couple of playings.

The only criticism is that some of the best songs are cut a little short. Oh, and why hasn't Holly Near done a concert in London, England with this type of material? It could get her some much needed recognition in these parts. She is so much more than just another folksinger.

It is hard to be enthusiastic about these performances , especially when superior versions exist. The balances and tempi are usually wrong in Rilling, which is always disappointing. The Suzuki and Gardiner performances are so superior in every way... And for me the clincher is the clotted dull choral sound. One wants to like these performances because the pieces are so good , but instead all that is left is total disappointment.....

I believe that Bach's complete cantatas beyond just the most famous ones belong in the collections of anyone who loves classical music. I have found that they are consentrated masterpieces. And each one is completely different. I am enamored of Rilling's cycle because of the complete dedication he and his performers give to each work the perform. The only people who will not like Rilling are those who insist on period intruments. I love the booklets that explan each canata and what to look for in them in order to best appreciate Bach's mastery of finding the best way to express the words.

Since the BWV numbers are not sequential this disc contains works from different parts of Bach's life.

14 Were god not with us all the time was written after the Christmas oratorio and contains all mastery of mature Bach with trumpet used to underscore some of the words,

It turns out that Bach did not write 15 which had been aattributed to him..

16 Lord God we give you praise which Bach scored with a violetta is presented by viola in the CD . This cantata performed at New years is joyful and exuberant from end to end.

17 Who thanks gives, praises me is alater piece this is so unique and striking in its orchestration one can imagine how important Bach felt prayer to be.

!8 Just as the showers and snow from heaven fall is a very early piece. It is the first almost operatic canata I have heard which pefectly conveys the fear of sinning and death . I will never forget this strangely sructured cantata where the most dramatic effect came from a recitive for chorus.



Please buy as many Rilling cantatas as you can afford.

Very nice stuffed toy. My grandson loves Mickey Mouse and this was perfect for him. The quality is very good. Looks just like the picture.

The toy arrived as described, a little squished in a plastic bag. After the bag was opened, it recovered & looks okay. It appears to be well constructed. The item does match the online description. In my mind, I had hoped for something just a little bit softer that a kid could cuddle up with at night. Something more akin to a Teddy bear. This item will be cute to play with though. It's not the seller's fault that I had envisioned something slightly different.
