During Tejano's first golden age, in the 1970s, big-horn-section bands ruled, from Tierra Tejana and Little Joe, to the Royal Jesters and Tortilla Factory. But first rank among the genre was undoubtedly Latin Breed, for their jazzy intros and sophisticated arrangements. This reunion CD is actually a compilation, but it contains several classics from perhaps the band's crowning achievement--Breaking the Rules, which is out of print. Other super selections from their landmark album include: "Ay Mujer," "Que Chulos Ojos," "Don Luis el Tejano," and the wondrous "reunion Medley"--a potpourri of their other hits. "Ay Mujer," a riveting ballad brought to life by singer Jay Perez, was a massive hit, jump-starting the band's career and winning the 1990 Tejano Music Awards Song of the Year honors. Other evergreens here include "Te Necesito," "Tu Prieto," "Mil Botellas," and "Cuatro Palabras." --Ramiro Burr

Latin Breed's music brought back many memories of holding someone close and dancing the nite away! I especially enjoyed hearing the Reunion Medley. It's so nice playing this CD in the car and not have to deal with breaks in the music like I used to hear with 8-tracks!!! LOL


Being a saxophone player during the Latin Breed era, and hearing this CD has certainly brought me back to life. What wonderful memories from the past were re-lived while listening to The Latin Breed once again. The Band had the best horn section and music in the Tejano Music Industry and now with the "Reunion" CD, they have proved it once more. Rudy, Alex and Charlie, the horn section has done it again; You guys are fabulous, Thanks! The Latin Breed "Reunion" CD is a must buy for all past and future musicians in Tejano music.


The CD "Reunion" by Latin Breed is a must have for all the true Tejanos out there. The music is absoulutaley put togheter very well and I highly reccomned it. I grew up listening to Latin Breed and attened their dances in Del Rio Texas as a young teenager. Truely brought back memeories.


This album is wonderful, it comes straight from the heart and root of all Tejanos of there feelings of joy and broken hearts. I wish them there best on there Reunion album. It's been a long time coming and I miss there music and style for years. Thanks for giving us the opportunity to hear your music again.

I was very happy to recieve my bag the 1st day of the estimated arrival! So great job on the shipping. I am satisfied with the bag, I have not used it yet, but will tomorrow when I go to the gym. I noticed tho in the description it says it has a zippered pocket, mine does not. Also it says the grommets are metal, I am pretty sure mine are plastic. Which is fine, but should be updated on the description. Thanks for a great bag! :)


I purchased the chocolate sackpack! loved the color! This is a quality bag! and very comfortable!


This product is poorly made. My daughter used it for one week before it became severely torn on one side.


This is a great bag for the gym if you do not want to carry a big bag. It is so light that you will not noticed that you have it on once you strap it to your back.


My daughter bought this bag with babysitting money because she wanted to be "cool". It is definitely meeting her expectations. I like it because it is roomy and breathable. We fit the soccer uniform, shoes, shin guards, plus an extra change of clothes without it being stretched to the limit.

the filter works much better then my old whisper
its was a little loud at first but eventually got quiet.



I got my fish tank in 1998 and had an older BioWheel filter. However it was pretty much DOA when I got it as the wheel didn't turn. I instead settled for an underground filter. However, the cartridge on that went bad last year (it always does every few months) and I forgot to replace it.

A few weeks ago I went to my Uncle's house. He's always been into fish tanks and I saw how clear his water was compared to mine. Being that I hadn't cleaned my tank in a while I figured I should revamp it when I got home. I thought maybe my filter needed replaced.

Upon my return home I cleaned the tank and bought this filter for $20 at Petsmart (Amazon is great but the $31 seems a bit high for this compared to what I got it for). It only took a few hours and my water suddenly looked as good as my Uncle's.

I also fixed the old filter, but this one works better. Sometimes I leave both of them on to provide extra oxygen. This filter has easy to change cartridges that need replaced about once a month or so. They'll probably set you back a bit, but based on this filter's performance so far I will definitely keep up the maintence.

Tubas from Hell

This is the most surprising cd I have ever purchased, I thought it a joke by the title, but it is the most incredible album I have ever purchased! You will not be disappointed with the quality of musicianship, just phenominal artistry.


My 11 year old son is a "tubist" for 3 years now. Not recalling a hearing tuba virtuoso, I thought I'd try to get him a CD for Christmas to see what such a thing sounds like. Obviously I'm an amateur, and can't compare the performances against other tubas. But these tubas sounds great through my Magnapan speakers. The CD is not just tubas; it's a collection of music featuring tubas, with great accompanyment, some lyrically. We particularly like "Waltzing Matilda" and a rag from The Sting. <p>If these tubas are from Hell, I can't wait to hear the ones from Heaven. You won't be disappointed with this music.


You'll enjoy this CD. Seems like the only time we hear tubas are on cartoons from the 1940s, but that's okay because most of the material here is from the first half of the 20th century. So you thought tubas were only sound effects for Dumbo? Guess again. There's some really enjoyable jazz here, and yes, unlike a lot of jazz, "Tubas From Hell" has a great sense of humor. "Yakkety Tuba"...how could anyone resist? But this CD isn't a joke, it makes for good listening, good enough to reinvent how you see the tuba.
