I own every full length CD ever released by Lenny Kravitz, but I had to be talked into buying this single. Only because I assumed all of the songs sounded the same as on the original CD... but I was wrong. The songs are remixed so it adds a special twist. My Favorite is 'Thinking Of You(Hexum Dancehall Remix)' This was definately worth the money. I highly recommend it for all Lenny fans ;)

It's not that this is a bad song, it's that Lenny simply mimics the original and leaves me wondering, "Why is this version necessary?" I've always been of the opinion that a cover song should cast a new light on a song. It should reveal a different artist's interpretation by playing the song in their style. But Kravitz gives us what we've already heard. I think, perhaps, that he doesn't have a real style to bring to the song. He simply goes through the motions.

I tell you why. Money. Since his last good album "Circus", Lenny Kravitz looks to me like a musician that cares more about his shows in the MTV and his fashion style, then the music he does. So somewhere on the way to the bank, Kravitz lost his music. So 0 stars for "American woman", and 1 star for the whole single, because of the live version of "Fields of joy", that reminds us, that there is another Lenny Kravitz, who deals with music.

I have to underscore the other reviewer's comment...AMERICAN WOMAN IS THE BOMB! I have even ordered the old CD track of American Woman by The Guess Who because it inspired me so when I heard it again last summer (time of the release of the Austin Power's movie).

It is a classic rock-n-roll song and if you don't like this song, you just must not be a fan of that rock era! It brought back the early 70's to me, bell bottoms and army jackets. But Kravitz executed the recording of this cover with his own signature style, and the result is sexy and rockin'...

These binoculars are impressive looking but they lack the finesse of smaller units.

The weight is more than the small single mounting post (or most camera tripods for that matter) can handle.

When you try to focus the eyepieces, the binoculars shake wildly - there is just no way to hold them steady.

The inter-pupillary adjustment is EXTREMELY hard to change but it probably has to be that way due to the extreme weight.



In the daylight, these binoculars offered less to see than a good pair of 10 x 50's. The field of view is sort of an annoying tunnel vision - about like looking through two sections of pipe. With the Focus adjustment mounted on the individual eyepieces, focusing is difficult at best.



The night sky did offer up some interesting galaxies and the image quality was pretty good -but you can forget about using the tripod - you will likely be lying on your back - hand holding these HEAVY binoculars looking straight up.



Are these binoculars worth the money? Optically - probably yes. Function - probably not.

I returned mine and will be looking for an actual telescope with a right-angle eyepiece..... Why?

Think about this: When your binoculars are pointed upward at the sky at a 45 degree angle - your head has to be tilted back at the same angle.

A telescope with a right-angle eyepiece will offer much more comfortable viewing.

The other comments on the mounting screw having a lot of play are very true. Tighten all you want, duct tape might work better. The magnification is strong enough that, after 6 months, I found a tripod to be mandatory. The Celestron recommended tripod added to my frustration. I never thought that something as basic as going to a point in the sky and having a steady view would be such a chore. The biggest gripe I have with these binocs is the chromatic aberration. With daytime use this isn't noticeable but a few stars or a planet against a dark sky and it is a significant problem. I expected some aberration at the edges, after all these aren't $3,000 binocs, but what I found was I had it dead center. Recently I had a great view of Jupiter with 3 moons visible. I was hoping to spend several minutes taking in the sight and seeing if I can make out features on the planet. Instead it was a collection of roundish rainbows that had me back in the house after a few seconds.

I read the reviews here and learned a lot. Thanks. So far so good. These are heavy as warned. You need to brace yourself against something to hold still and, or support the heavy base on something like a post or rock. I don't care though. I can see so much more now and I can identify so much more. I'm having a ball. I use the no-fog cloths on the lenses (sold separately). I do think this helps cut down the moisture on the lenses at the coast and the frequent cleaning of the lenses keeps the picture sharper. I hold the binoculars up and I can see birds where there was nothing with the naked eye. I don't try to chase the birds, I just hold the binoculars steady and the birds fly through the viewing field. The light shines off the ocean waves at sunset and I still don't have a problem with glare. I have to say, this is a blast so far! I feel like I'm right out there flying with the birds, free. It's an amazing 3D feeling! It immediatley relieves my stress from the face pace at work. I come home a new person.

These 25x100 SkyMaster beauties are amazing. Once these are mounted on a sturdy tripod (good luck finding one) you are in for a treat! Nicely portable I brought these out to get great views of the most recent lunar eclipse and the Ooohhh's and Aaahhh's I heard from the students, parents and faculty during an elementary school star party, I was very pleased.

I had compared these to more expensive binoculars and these blew them away in clarity, colimation and view. Comparing the SkyMasters to several other binoculars at another star party...there is no comparison. General consensus - Celestron SkyMasters are superior! And the Amazon price can't be beat!

This rangefinder seems to work flawlessly. I have no complaints about it. However I will never buy another bushnell product again. They have the worst customer service I have ever seen. I bought a brand new scope off of them to find out that it's defective. It's got a "lifetime warranty" so I sent it back to them and they said that there was a problem with the image erector and they said that they wouldn't cover the warranty on it because it was my fault. I only used the thing one time and I'm always careful with my scopes. So that was 150 bucks down the drain. So buy a bushnell if you want but don't expect them to help you out if it breaks. I would recommend nikon instead.

I didn't quite get the range out of this that I thought I would. However it is very effective.



I can range things like trees out to about 450 yards. I can range big shiny things like RVs out to about 600 yards. I bought it for hunting and can reliably range things like elk to 300 yards.



Ultimately I figured if I can't range an elk with it Id better keep hiking because Im obviously farther away than I should be to shoot at it. However it would be nice to know how much closer I need to sneek up to be within 300 yards.



Overall pretty good..4 stars.

I play executive courses in Florida and many of these are located in housing developments. Flags are frequently in front of houses and or trees. It is difficult to obtain the correct yardage for these holes. There also is very little support on how to align on the target whether it is the flag, flag pole, front of green, etc. My iGolf GPS unit is much more useful.

Item arrived quickly, but I was disappointed with its usage. It was fine for measuring to a sand trap or people on the green but I could seldom get range to the flag. I am going to return the item and pay more for a better one.
