this is a lightweight cover that really does heat the water of our small pool. it works best with warm, very sunny days. it heats the top few inches of water really well, the lower water is still cool. however a quick stir of the water gets it all evenly warm. it has helped us enjoy our pool more.

This is nothing more then a bubble wrap tarp! Yeah it heats the pool but so would any tarp put on top! It does not secure in any way to the pool it just rests on top. Would quickly blow away in a storm or high winds.

This "cover" is nothing more than a cirle-shaped sheet of bubble wrap. It is easy to put on and take off and does raise the water temperature, but it fell apart before the end of the summer. The bubbles disintingrated leaving small round pieces of blue plastic throughout the pool. Now when I try to pick it up, my fingers poke right through what is left of the cover. I gave it two stars because it did what it was supposed to do in heating the water, but it failed miserably in durability.

they put 8 pounds item, you think it is a durable item, but no it is only 2 pounds and cheap item, not covering the full 20 inch pool, the time they put a right description of the item they can have only one more star.
don't buy it try a full cover it is better than this one.
