My review title pretty much sums it up! philosophy products always seem to be extreme hits or extreme misses. And the misses are usually in the skin care department rather than in body products. This is a bad miss of a product. I know everyone's different. Didn't heal my mild acne- maybe I'm allergic to one of the ingredients, I don't know. It smells like Elmer's glue- actually, it felt like it, too! Yuck. To each their own. I hated it.

I was using Hope in a Jar by Philosophy but I was breaking out. My skin isn't really that oily but I do have the occasional breakout. Because there is oil in the Hope in a Jar I decided to switch with this. Hope in a Bottle has no oil and is for 'problem skin'. This has helped a ton. You only have to use a little bit. I've had mine since October and I have more than half a bottle left. With the change in the weather the last couple weeks I've noticed that my skin is a little too dry. So I've been using this during the day and I switch to Hope in a Jar at night because it's a little more moisturizing. Overall I am very happy with this product.

I have been using for a week now, and I can honestly see improvement on my face. My old acne scars are lighter, the little bumps I had under my skin are just about gone, and theres a all over smoothness to my face now. Even the 3 lines on my forehead are smoothing out. Its great. I will definitly buy this product again. Im even thinking of buying the hope in a jar.

I got this for christmas a year ago and it lasted almost the full year. You do not need to use too much and works great. I immediately bought another bottle when it ran out!
